WANTS

1. Bella Bamba 3d blusher by Benefit
This blusher is amazing, fell in love the minute 100th time I tried it. I know I sound bias since it is Benefit, but it is definitely worth the money. Just wish my pocket can say the same.

2. Vitamin C capsules by The Body Shop
This 28 day radiance challenge looks promising. Than again I am a sucker for beauty products.

3. MiuMiu knockoffs
As much as I adore bling, I don't really like the original studded ones. That and the fact that I could never own a pair of MiuMiu originals.

4.Wedges from F21
Had my eye on this eversince I saw it last Tuesday.

Sitting at home with ample amounts of time to be wasted leaves you back to day one;
planning what to do with the spare time you will be having.
I never really did stray far from my daily routine in the first place (don't know why I am realizing it now), sure there were the reinventions that occupied 45 minutes of my day and the outings with a few friends, but that only took about a week of my holiday.
With not much to do, alas, youtube is my saving grace.
From make up tutorials to stand up comedians, I browsed almost everything and anything that came to my mind. From Funny pets to Really really funny pets to Weird Ads to Nadya Suleman to How to know if you're mexican, (and the list goes on and on.)
You name it, I have probably searched for it. In case that didn't give you an idea on how pathetic my holiday is going, I even succumbed to my intolerable infatuation for drama. If I couldn't get it from my holidays, might as well relive it thru videos rite?
which leads to me stumbling upon this advertisement. I was searching for sad short films, for the sake of a good cry...
(don't look at me like I am some low life, if no one searched for it people wouldn't have put it up in the first place)

Am I the only one fascinated by the fact that even though I don't speak a word of Iranian, I still managed to understand the storyline? Could it be deja vu? Was I reincarnated in my before life as the bird itself? Could it be that I am actually a Russian spy who knows 43 different languages but memory is still suppressed and can only be triggered until I am needed for my next big mission?

As much as I want all three of my speculations to be true and go "Yes I was a magic bird who was hired by the Russians because of my ability to revisit my past"... it is just too bad that the more logical explanation is that this ad is a lot similar to the one that Yasmin Hamid directed in 2007.

So who copied who? Team Yasmin all the way, after all she couldn't have stolen all of her other moving masterpieces. Just saying.

On a completely unrelated note,

Phone Sex brought to you by yours truly,
(don't pretend some of you haven't been doing the nasty, its like telling me boys don't secretly jack off in the shower)

I would continue, but they are kids who actually read my blog, SO let's keep things discreet here, people.
Just to prove to you that I am not a complete nutcase, here is a photo of me and Jayne doing what girls do best in changing rooms.

FML I need leg implants.

See? I'm not totally mental rite?

Whats up my pretties?
Sorry for the week long hiatus, and I have a very very very good excuse for it.
Here goes;
Unfortunately for me I bought the wrong type of batteries for my camera. I didn't even know there were such things because as far as I know it is only the sizes that matters. Anyways without batteries for my camera there won't be any updates on my outfits, therefore not much materials to post on my blog......until, it suddenly occured to me that I can blog the stuff I have been doing whilst on my semester break.
YAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY US!
Initially, looking for a job was on top of my list but unfortunately for me I can never stick around long enough for one; hence it's a waste of time. Plus no one is going to pay you if you only work for two weeks, in case some of you ever thought of bailing out after two weeks of work like I did. -_______________________-

Anywho, with all the spare time in the world on my hands I decided to do what I do best; concentrate on my vanity and boost my ego. Then again, what self respecting girl doesn't? I really do believe that there is no such thing as an ugly girl, only lazy ones. True, you might not strike a pot of gold in the genetics department, but who says you can't fake it? So yes, the solution?
"Reinvention."
Madonna, Britney Spears and Prince all went through countless reinventions to upgrade themselves and I say it is a good enough advice to be taken by us mere mortals. There are numerous ways of upgrading your look, whether it is semi permanent like getting a new hair do or a lifetime decision like a tattoo.
Funny that I mentioned that because way hay, I took the plunge and did both, and I am loving it.

I has a tattoo, now I is cool ya'all

My kitty tattoo upclose, in case you were wondering

Redhead
Aren't these just the best reinvention? I love love love that I finally took the plunge and coloured my hair red.
So how are you guys going to upgrade yourselves? After all there is always a better improvement for a better you. So wether it is the hairstyle ou have been dying to try but never had the guts. Or the piercing on the lower lip that you find utterly attractive yet ridiculously useless. I say take the plunge and just do it. After all you only live once.

And if you are a big of a chicken as I am and would rather not go for permanent changes, do what I do and fake it. Spoiler alert : The hair coour only lasts 28 washes, and the tattoo is a fake one in case I change my mind and want a flower or a dinasour instead. We all know how fickle minded I can get. Puahahhahha

Goodluck!

I absolutely adore colours... especially ones that just seem to
POP!

I might be way behind this trend, but I noticed there has been a lot of colour blocking going on. Colour blocking is if I am not mistaken, is a method of mixing and matching different colours that stand out into your outfit to create a whole different look.

Think emerald green with royal purple or electrifying orange with a romantic red.

The pictures I took don't do me any justice thanks to the crappy camera, but imagine my shoe in a much brighter shade of greenish-blue, it really stands out in real life, and I just love the gold colour at the side of it.

Here is a better example of colour blocking by the The Man Repeller herself;

How genius is that? So is this look a yay or a nay?

DELETING THIS BLOG..
KIND OF

I have been known to be blessed with the gift of the gap. It can be a positive or a negative thing, depends on how you look at it. In case some of you don't know what that means, it means that I have balls an insatiable habit of speaking my mind out without thinking twice of the repercussions or peoples feelings. That being said, I am going to change the whole concept of my blog just because I feel it has become a little too personal and besides, nobody really gives a shit.
So this blog will be hosting my outfit pictures, random shits, brief updates about my life - again, nothing too personal like who I would want to beat the shit out an feed to the chickens or my non existent love life. No more.
I am going to be twenty soon, and that being said not to follow my emotions too much. If I am upset about something I will express it in other ways. Like killing that person and chucking their remains in a river and pretend they never existed exercising or baking or better - shopping.
(I know I am going long about the age thing, fuck off I am having a mid life crisis, yes at 20) .

For the sake of formality, here I am impersonating a blow fish

What do you get if you subtract a year worth of feud, add a 50% coupon for sushi and power it to mutual love and passion for shopping?

GIVE UP?

I only look short because she was wearing heels. Just had to point that out.

Still, I would never trade ma' hommies for any other. They are the reason behind my previous post.

I can't believe how fast time flies by. I am officially going to be 20 this year and I am almost done with my first  year in degree. Word on the street is if I keep myself on the right track, I might be graduating next year....and by "street", I meant according to Dahlia
Not sure if the info is legit since I don't keep up with my University's updates, but I'll take her word for it.
Even though I feel a tad older since I will be dropping the "-teen" at the back of my age, on a lighter note what better excuse to go shopping? My wardrobe is in need of a major makeover from premmie to adult.
So hello to a new look and a burn in my pocket followed by days of starvation.

I am in love with high waisted shorts. I used to think that you needed curves to pull the look off, but I am very happy with my latest find. A pop of colour; just the right shade to describe my personality.
LOUD.

I am also equally ecstatic about my new pair of oxfords. I have been searching for one for quite some time, and found it the same night I reconciled with my bestfriend. We bonded over sushi and of course our love for shopping, and I must admit, as much as a BFF can make you go WTF, there is no denying we would all be a little less rich without them.
A perfect ending to a perfect night?
Definitely.

Sorry for not blogging lately. Will make up for it. Finals is just around the corner and I am literally shitting in my pants trying to catch up with what I have been missing this whole semester.

Every now and then I get the ocassional questions about my looks, and who do I take up after. Without fail I would be struggling with an answer because of my uncertainty. Honestly adoption jokes aside, I don't think I look anything like my parents. The toddler version of me resembled most of my Dad during his skinny years and when I was about 7 or 8 I looked like my Mum. And then I got fat and my Mum referred me as the lovechild of an Ah Long and the lady who sells vegetables at the night market. -___-" Which explains not only her sadistic humour, but mine as well. Thanks Mum.
Flash forward to present day, somehow my looks differ from the norm of my parents and I look neither like my Dad, my Mum or a nationality for that matter. I don't look Chinese. I don't look Malay. Nor do I pass as a Caucasian. So whatthefuckam I?
I am still trying to find out what ethnicity I could fit into and then go on with my life lying about my heritage but it's no use. Call it motherly instincts, my Mum would always know when to push my buttons, and she is effortlessly punctual especially when I am having one of those days. It amazes me really. My Mum would often tell me how weird looking I was and that if I were taller I would have been the face of Benetton. Her compliments are weird because somewhat they come across as degrading, which is a talent come to think about it. Like how when I was fat she used to call me "Budak Tetek Besar" and told me to take it as a good thing. I was 12 at that time, and it didn't occur to me that it was a form of sexual harassment, mind you I woud have sued the shit out of my Mum if it wasn't for her cooking. Anyways, because of that I have a minute fear of having boobs. Again, thanks Mum.
Still, given a choice, I would not want to look any different. Unless, if god asked me if I would like to swap my face with Vanessa Hudgens, in which I would probably get a heart attack from joy and end up waking up in Hell. booo.

You know how they say if you want to see how a person ages all you have to do is look at their parents?
Guess I will never know.
On a completely unrelated note...
Wasn't too sure on what to wear that day, and finally decided to go with the simpler outfit.
Life's hard.

Good news. Came back and found my camera unharmed on my study table.
Heee...Which only leads us to my outfit shots.

Was feeling princess-sy, and noticed that most of my clothings in my wardrobe were either black or floral printed. -___-" A little bit more raiding and I finally concluded that my choice of clothings like me, need some growing up.
FML, can't believe I am going to be 20
Here is a snippet of a lyric from my current favourite song. Funny how I can relate to this;

He was young, he was hot,
he made me feel alive.
so in love I was falling,
ooh, it’s early morning.

He took me in his hands
and squeezed me real tight.
I was humbled and so joyful
depending on this guy;
he didn’t last very long
a week or maybe two.
when he called me on the phone
saying baby I don’t love you.

Just another one-way love
always giving never getting.
And now I feel so stupid
it’s like a deja vu

Ironically my previous post was about how I preferred hanging out with Guys as oppose to Girls.Well as much as I do prefer, please note that this does not mean I intend to stop hanging out with girls anytime soon. I do have some, who I go on occasional outings with, for example my current housemates. And just for rectification for some of you who are in a state of confusion right now, these are not the same "dearest" old housemates from hell. My current housemates do not own a cat and they do know a thing or two about hygiene. Thank god.

Anyways, here are pics of our night. As much as I love explaining what we were doing in each one, I am sure you can figure out how much fun we had.

It’s been a while since my last prattle and despite my awe-inspiring ability to come up with jibberish in 5 milliseconds flat, I haven’t been finding enough time to actually sit down in front of the computer  and conjure up, in my opinion; a decent blog post.
Not until I started Uni that I realized I have come a long way since my acne adolescent years. From hairstyles to wardrobe to genres of music, I find myself listing down only a handful of things that remained the same like my love for chocolates or Britney Spears.
Favourites and priorities I never thought would change somehow subconsciously did for me throughout the years, and even though I hate admitting it, I know I have grown up. For instance I would never be caught dead  watching reruns of Lizzie Mcguire or come to my senses that getting a boyfriend isn’t as fulfilling as I thought back when I was a pudgy sixth grader and as for the circle of friends I made back then, they aren’t exactly the same as the ones I currently have.
Ever since I started boarding school most of my good friends were girls. Often do I come across dim-witts who come up with the impression that I surround myself with dumb booze drinking loud mouth party chicks just because that is their notion of me and personally I am offended. Contrary to popular speculating beliefs, I choose my friends and it is safe to say that they are very much educated as well as morally and religiously integrated girls thank you very much.
These days I find myself longing for the companionship of a female like I did back in highschool, and even though I had a brief friendship in Uni a while back, I never really regretted calling her my best friend, but that’s a different story.
Anyways,  I hate it when people think I purposely surround myself with guys as if I had the luxury of making it a lifestyle choice in the first place. Too many times have I mentioned that my Uni is a friggin sausage fest, and for some who still can’t manage to interpret what that means, please don’t hesitate to shoot yourself.
Even though I would never in a gajillion years give up my old girl friends, I must admit that having male companions does have its perks and indeed I have come a long way since my shy timid teenage years of having a close knit group of girlfriends.
Needless to say I would never trade my new friends either because spending 85% of my time on campus has made each of us closer and life would be less bearable without them. Plus, if I ever did I would probably end up walking alone in the hallways.
With every cloud there is a silver lining and even though I am not a big fan of seeing the glass as half full, the odds are against me as each semester breezes through faster than the last.

So here are my reasons why I prefer to hang out with my Guy Friends rather than the Girls I have just been acquainted with.

1. They Don't Judge
I could tell them that I stand while I pee and despite the cringes and the awkward pause, they would still be my friends without judging the fact that I don't have the proper instrument for a stunt like that. Or in my case they would forget that I was a girl in the first place and reply "So?".

2.We Eat At Same Speed
The thing about me is I hate waiting for people, especially when I am done with my meal and they are still halfway through theirs. The one thing I don't understand is why can't some girls eat faster? They talk a lot more than the average male, I am sure that is enough to maintain the stamina of the jaw.

3.We Eat, period.
I hate girls who complain that they are fat right after a meal. Most of the girls who do don't even have meat in the first place. I know that I am guilty of that, but hearing someone doing the same is irritating. Therefore being the only girl in the group, I wouldn't have to hear the guys complain about packing a few kilos, which makes the whole experience of eating that much more enjoyable. I love food. Surrounding myself with people of the same adoration makes my adrenaline pump and my eyes roll  to the back of my head with pleasure at each bite of my food.
If the scenario, were to however involve a fat chick complaining about her waist I would be in a real dilemma. Do I tell her that she is a whale slightly overweight? Or do I deny it?

4. Honestly Honest
Which brings me to the fourth point. You can always count on a guy to be brutally honest, because dudes will express their point of views. I like that about guys. If you don't want to know the truth, why bother asking for an expecting answer? You are better off talking in front of the mirror and showering yourselves with things you want to hear. Of course, people who practice this will end up in an asylum. True story.

5. Drama? Nooooo
You can never intentionally offend your guy friends. I tried on various occasions and it was an epic fail, eventually it all ends the same; banters amongst each other lasts as long as the day does. There are once or twice that we do hurt each other's feelings mind you boys aren't just a walking pair of balls, but it ends in ways far more civilized than girls. No backstabbing. No lying. No payback.

6. We Share The Same Sense of Humour.
As much as this scares me it is a good thing too. None of us are easily offended and despite how lame, stupid or vulgar the inside joke is, it never fails to leave me laughing. Most girls don't get my humour, and as much as I love my old girlfriends, I can't just tell them a sex joke and expect the to roll on the floor laughing. It would be awkward, and I would probably get "the look".

7. Boys tell you about boys.
After all who better to know the opposite sex than the opposite sex themselves. Numerous occasions do they help me decipher the complicated species, and even though I know they secretly feel like sawing their ears off with my problems, they are always there to listen without fail.

So if you ask me why I am mostly surrounded with guys and not girls? Ignore the fact that I am taking engineering, you did before anyways. These are my reasons but it doesn't mean I would give up a day of hanging with any of my girl besties otherwise I would have to make do with my Mum being my bridesmaid. The horror I tell you.

Since Mum stole took my camera behind my back there won't be any new pictures of my outfits until she returns it. Which means, no outfit post until she releases it from hostage.
I am currently in a love-hate relationship with my bangs. I don't know how this is going to help me look mature or make people take me more seriously, but oh well, hair will grow. That I am sure of.

Coat + Tube
It's been a while since I posted my outfit pics, and just for the sake of it, here I am with unwashed hair and zero make up. For this year my new years resolution would be to try and tone down my outfits, but loud and colourful nontheless.
(Yes, yes, I know I am wearing a very skimpy tube dress, I did say try didn't I?)
That being said, you will probably see me in less cleavage bearing tops.
(at least according to the person who calls me "Itik")

Come to think of it, I haven't discussed about my new years resolution have I?
To be honest, I haven't thought of one. At least not lately, not that I'm content with myself or anything....It's just that I've been trying to keep track of my last years' resolution. Unfortunately, to this day, I have forgotten each and every one of them. So heres to a New Year, and probably an update on my last years resolution which I hope I get to do it this year.
Where do I start? Where do I start?
So much has been going on that I am overwhelmed that the year is so quickly over. This year I am going to be 20, and depressing as that sounds (I have Gerascophobia) I am actually looking forward to being more matured, but minus the ageing signs.
People have come up to me and told me that my biggest flaw is the fact that I am too frivolous and immature. At that point all I could think off was to pull out my imaginary bazooka from the back of pants and shoot them in the head. Then again, if everyone tells you the same thing, they might be on to something.
For starters I hate losing. Hate it in everything that I do. The minute I know I am failing, I quit. Any sign of my incapability and I shut my system off and stop whatever I was doing for example fighting a losing battle in an argument. If I am positive that I was right to begin with, fuuh you would be in heck of a debate, but if I was clearly in the wrong braise yourself for The Worst Fight Ever, because believe you me, I can be that childish.
Fortunately for me, I have friends and family who nag me to the point where I realize that there isn't a "reset" button in life. *sigh* I am still working on that, mind you. Whether it is in my non existent relationship, or my relationship with my Mum. Hopefully the new year brings me a new attitude.
Then again that is what we all hope for, but very little achieve. Have I ever mentioned what a pessimist I am when it comes to motivation? I rarely look at the glass as half full.
Second is my prudeness towards sharing. I hate sharing. I grew up an only child. Sharing goes against everything I believed in. Fullstop.
Thirdly - I would not be a weakling. (This is for me to know and deal with, on my own). By weak I don't mean I am going to buff up and join the Woman's weight lifting team (don't be stupid), by weakling I mean spiritually. I am not going to let people affect me, as much as it does. I am going to be strong, and like the main goal - mature.
Some how the thought of me growing up is hilarious. After all I still hold my Mum's hand while crossing the road, and my peers see me as their underage companion, still.
Fingers crossed.

A spontaneous trip to Port Dickson was worth the 2 hour journey on the KTM to Seremban, the sun burns and the sore backs.

The trip back to KL on the other hand, was horrible. I never knew that KTMs had a coach specially for women but what annoys me is that some people forget that they have balls. Somehow the womens coach ends up being filled with guys, and to make matters worse it was filled with low life immigrants who apparently can't read. I will give it a benefit of a doubt that they are illiterate given that they came from a less fortunate background, but I am sure they would notice the gajillion stickers of womens silhouette on the KTM walls? I bet you that they were inconsiderate enough to dismiss it as a sanitary pad ad. Still, if I was a guy, it would be uncomfortable to step into a menstrual designed coach, even though there wasn't actual pads on the wall. Or the fact that majority of the people in the coach were Females. Pfft.. this is why I am against public transportation. The LRTs are still bearable, but not the KTMs and the buses.
You can easily catch an illegal immigrant on a bus and as a matter of fact I think the cops should start practicing it. Or do they? It's a brilliant plan come to think of it. There is no way they can run or hide, and even the most desperate attempts to escape would be to no avail because there would be cops around the bus.
Or they could jump out from the window onto a busy road and get road killed. Either way is fine by me.

On to a lighter note. My trip.

If a picture is worth a 1000 words, let's just say that my trip was indescribably fun yet short. Can you guys believe the things we did in just one day?

This one sums up the day.
